English-Finnish Translation
I will provide English-Finnish translations professionally and my work is always human translated.
When it comes to translating Finnish language, using machine translations can be a bit...errm, tricky. You may succeed in basic simple sentences, but unfortunately many times you can end up getting complete non sense (which is nice, if you are looking for to make someone laugh with your texts – but I suspect you are not one of those?)
I am here to make sure that your content truly sounds natural. I can translate almost anything, but I want to concentrate on content that I'm comfortable/familiar with, so that I can guarantee the best possible satisfaction for the client I work with.

I've translated a lot of different kind of websites, books, games, product descriptions, instructions, contracts, e-mails etc.

WHAT I CAN'T TRANSLATE:
I won't take complicated legal texts and technical manuals etc. which require more specific knowledge of the terminology.

As a Finnish proofreader my aim is to provide prompt, reliable and accurate work, which has 100 % satisfaction for the client.

I have great writing skills and an eye for details. I will go through the grammar, spelling, punctuation, capital letters etc, as well as the overall readability. I will make sure your text is error-free, readable and sounds native.

WHAT I CAN PROOFREAD:

I've proofread a lot different kinds of content, such as websites, blog posts, applications, CV's, professional emails, offers, sales letters, product descriptions, manuals, stories, articles, books, essays, thesis, translations....etc.

WHAT I CAN'T PROOFREAD:

I will not proofread texts that contain special vocabulary/terminology of an area that I'm not familiar with. I won't also proofread any texts that contain a lot of violence/insulting content.

Machine-Translation Post-Editing
I can also do machine-translation post-editing in Finnish, if you have ended up getting one, and want to make sure your content is actually readable and understandable.
Finnish Transcription
I can also convert speech into written form. I offer Finnish transcriptions from video and audio files professionally with accuracy.
My Rates
Rates of my services vary depending on the nature of the project, deadline etc. But basically the prices are between 0,02 - 0,08 $ per word in translation and proofreading, depending on the services. Transcription rates depend on the level of difficulty, number of speakers, material quality etc.
In general I like to price every project as an individual one and often give discounts too if there is a lot of repetition etc.
